This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, share, and protect information in relation to our list-building software-as-a-service platform, our website (clycklist.com), and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). It covers both information about our direct users ("User Data") and the data our users compile about their business prospects ("Prospect Data").

a. Information You Provide to Us Directly (User Data)

  • Account and Profile Information: When you register for a Clyck List account, we collect your full name, email address, and a hashed password. We also ask for your company name, country, industry, the outreach tools you use, and how you heard about us.
  • Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, our third-party payment processor, Stripe, will collect your payment information. We do not directly collect or store your full credit card information. We only receive information associated with your payment from Stripe, such as your billing details, the last four digits of your credit card, and the expiration date, for account management purposes.
  • Communications: If you contact us directly (e.g., via email for support), we will receive your name, email address, the contents of the message, and any attachments you may send us, as well as any other information you choose to provide.

b. Information You Generate Using Our Service (Prospect Data)

  • Prospect Lists: Our Service allows you to build lists of business prospects. The content you create and compile within the Service, including names, job titles, company names, and work email addresses of third-party individuals, is defined as "Prospect Data."
  • Your Role and Responsibilities: For the purposes of data protection law (like the GDPR), when you use our Service to compile Prospect Data, you are the Data Controller of that information. This means you are responsible for ensuring you have a legal basis (e.g., legitimate interest) for collecting and using that data. Clyck List acts as a Data Processor on your behalf, processing this data at your direction and in accordance with our Terms of Service.

c. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Log and Usage Data: Our servers automatically collect information when you access or use our Service. This data includes your IP address, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and language preferences.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including the type of device and operating system.
  • Cookies and Analytics: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and analyze our Service. We use Google Analytics to help us understand how users engage with our website and application. This data is used to improve our Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To Provide, Operate, and Maintain our Service: To create and manage your account, process payments, and provide you with the core functionality of Clyck List.
  • To Process Data on Your Behalf: To execute the functions of the Service as directed by you, including building, storing, and providing access to your Prospect Data.
  • To Improve and Personalize our Service: To understand and analyze usage patterns through services like Google Analytics to improve functionality and user experience.
  • To Communicate with You: To send you service-related communications (e.g., in-app notifications, account verification, billing notices, technical and security updates) and to respond to your support requests via email.
  • For Marketing and Promotional Purposes: With your consent, we will use your email address to send you newsletters and marketing communications about new features and promotions. We use Brevo to manage these communications. You can opt-out at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email.
  • For Safety, Security, and Legal Compliance: To prevent fraud, monitor for security incidents, and comply with applicable laws, legal processes, or regulations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information or the Prospect Data you generate. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Third-Party Service Providers: These include:
    • Cloud Hosting: To store all User and Prospect Data securely.
    • Payment Processing: Stripe for handling payments.
    • Analytics: Google Analytics to understand usage patterns.
    • Email and Communication Services: Brevo to send transactional and marketing emails.
  • CRM and Other Integrations: You may connect your account to CRMs like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Pipedrive. These connections are governed by your agreements with those services.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred.
  • Legal Requirements: If legally required, we may disclose your information.

We retain User Data and Prospect Data as long as your account is active. You can delete data anytime, and upon account deletion, all data is removed from active systems and eventually from backups.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no system is 100% secure.

Our Service is not intended for individuals under 18. If we learn we've collected data from a child, we will delete it.
